Gungahlin College will hold an information session and tour for classroom teachers or recruits interested in applying to teach at Gungahlin College in 2017 from 4.30–5.30pm on Tuesday 30 August 2016.

Gungahlin College has been uniquely designed to support students to learn in contemporary and innovative ways. We are committed to learning collaboratively from each other through lesson observation and peer review of work. We teach in open spaces with our pedagogy on display to all. We teach in teams. We promote student collaboration in line with the latest research about how students learn best. We run a flexible timetable for both staff and students which includes the only night senior secondary college in the ACT.

Positions for 2017 include combinations of English, Mathematics, Science, Visual Arts including Photography, Media and Ceramics, Special Needs (Inclusion Support), Legal Studies and Social and Community Services (priority recruitment need).
