All enrolment applications are managed through an online enrolment process administered by the ACT Education Directorate. The online enrolment application form can be accessed from the Education Directorate website: Enrolling in ACT Public Schools.

Once you have completed the online enrolment form, you will receive email advice directly from the College. Due to demand for places at Gungahlin College, applications from within our Priority Enrolment Area must be supported by proof of residence documentation.

Students interested in our elite programs (Gungahlin College Selective, Year 10 SMART, Performing Arts Immersion and Sports Development) can find more information on the Elite Programs page.

Families are strongly encouraged to participate actively in their student's enrolment.

Please contact us on 02 6142 1000 if you need further information.

Enrolment for International Fee-Paying Students (IPS)

Gungahlin College promotes academic excellence and provides cultural enrichment and quality care, specifically designed to meet the needs of IPS. Those who wish to enrol as an IPS at our college must contact the International Education Unit (IEU) of the ACT Education Directorate first on +612 6205 9176 before commencing the enrolment process.

During the enrolment process, we will advise students on the best choice of courses and appropriate levels for their needs – whether students are planning to undertake further study in Australia or return home having been enriched with English and the experience of living in Australia.

Our IPS are supported by the College coordinator and the strong languages program consisting of English as a Second Language (ESL), Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Hindi, Italian and Korean. The ACT Education Directorate offers a range of services to support the general wellbeing of students. For more information on enrolling as an IPS, please visit ACT Education Directorate: International Students.
