Enrolment

All enrolment applications are handled through an online enrolment process administered by the ACT Education Directorate. The online enrolment application form can be accessed from the Education Directorate website: Application to Enrol/Transfer in an ACT public school

Due to excess demand for places at Gungahlin College, applications from within our Priority Enrolment Area must be supported by proof of residence documents (utilities, rates, rental agreement). Please forward these to the College upon submission of your application.

Students interested in our special programs (Gungahlin College Selective, Year 10 SMART, Performing Arts Immersion, Artpreneurs and Sports Development) should contact the College directly.

Families of eligible students will be contacted by the College to assist with the rest of the enrolment process.

Families are strongly encouraged to participate actively in their student's enrolment.

Please contact us on 02 61421000 if you need further information.

Our 2018 School Enrolment Management Plan also provides further information on how we manage the enrolment process.

Enrolment for International Fee-paying Students (IPS)

The ACT Gungahlin College promotes academic excellence and provides cultural enrichment and quality care specifically designed to meet the needs of International Fee-paying Students. Those who wish to enrol as International Fee-paying students at our college must contact the International Education Unit (IEU) of the ACT Department of Education and Training first on +612 6205 9176 before commencing our College enrolment process.

During the enrolment process, we will advise students on the best choice of courses and appropriate levels for their needs – whether students are planning to study at an Australian university, enter CIT/TAFE or return home having been enriched with English and the experience of living in Australia.

Our International Fee-paying Students are supported by the College coordinator and the strong ESL and foreign languages program consisting of Chinese, Japanese, French, German and Italian and Korean. General well-being of students is monitored by the ACT Department of Education and Training who offers a range of support services.
