Partnership and communication with our college community is very important to us because we recognise the role this plays in student achievement. The following communication methods help us realise this goal.
Gungahlin College uses an online platform called Schoology to facilitate communication between staff and students. Parents and Carers are also able to access this platform to see their student’s progress in their courses and to keep track of upcoming due dates.

We use the following social media platforms to provide timely updates to our community. The information on each service is the same, so you can connect with us using your platform of choice and know that you will receive the same information.
A student's Connect teacher is your first contact for all matters relating to well-being, progress and achievement. Short Message Service (SMS) Absence alerts are send to identified parents' mobile phone numbers where a students unexplained absences in the preceding week exceeds three school periods.
Each week, we email "What 's On", our regular newsletter to parents and students, which highlights important information and events relevant to the upcoming fortnight. "What's On " is also available from the Home Page of this website.
We generate a variety of student reports including: progress alerts, where applicable; mid- semester, and, detailed end of semester reports.
Parent/Teacher interviews are held at the College at the end of Term 1 and Term 3 each year. Parents/Carers can book an interview using the PTO Online Booking System.
