Sports Development Program
This course is for students who have advanced skills in their chosen sporting area, and where time management may have become an issue due to increased training demands. The course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills to enable them to reach their potential in both their academic and sporting endeavours. As part of enrolment in this course, students are expected to represent Gungahlin College in their chosen sport.

Empower Program
Gungahlin College is committed to its vision of empowering every student to reach their full potential. This includes our gifted and talented students. As such, the Gungahlin College Empower Program offers a tailored educational program for successful year 11 and 12 applicants.
The Gungahlin College Empower Program will provide individualised support for successful students. We will ensure that students have access to teachers in their chosen courses that are skilled in extending gifted and talented students. The Program’s team will work with teachers to provide strategies to enhance the student’s outcomes.
The Empower Program Coordinator will provide an additional layer of support for students in the program. They will be able to assist students with such things as applications, ANU Extension Courses, competitions and so on.
