About this course
This qualification reflects the role of people in entry-level Business Services jobs. Students learn to complete basic clerical, administrative and operational tasks, using self-management and technology skills. Most tasks are routine and completed in a structured workplace setting, usually under supervision.
VET qualification: BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills.
What this means: VET helps students have their practical skills recognised towards a nationally recognised certificate by completing workplace skills (units of competency).

Important note about delivery
This is a vocational-only course delivered by Gungahlin College’s school-based RTO (North Training). The course is delivered entirely from the training package and does not integrate with BSSS A/T/M/V courses.
Students receive BSSS credit based on the units of competency they successfully complete. Students must complete the required competencies by the end of Semester 1 to be eligible to continue in the program.
