How to get help
Choose one of these options:
Option 1: Visit the IT Office
Drop in to the IT Office: Orange Hub, Level 1 - Room H1.32
Option 2: Email IT Support
Email: ITSupport.GNGC@ed.act.edu.au
Include:
- your full name
- your student ID
- a clear description of the issue (what happened and when)
- what you have already tried (if anything)
What happens next: IT Support will reply by email, phone or SMS. They’ll let you know if you need to bring your device in.
Loan devices and repairs
Loan devices
If your device needs a warranty repair, you may be given a loan device. You must return it in the same condition when your device is ready to collect.
Physical damage (school-issued devices)
If your school-issued device is physically damaged, it may need to be sent away for assessment.
If the damage is found to be outside the Chromebook (or device) Loan Agreement, you may be invoiced for the cost of repairs.
Quick tip before you contact IT
If you can, write down:
- any error message you see
- what you were doing right before the problem started
- whether the issue happens every time or only sometimes
