At Gungahlin College ICT is used comprehensively through the curriculum. All students at our College have access to a range of computer devices including iPads, Netbooks, Desktop Computers and Tablet devices. Students are however, encouraged to bring their own personal learning devices if they wish. These could include:
- iPads, iPods or Smart phones
- Laptops
- Tablet PC's
Or other hand held or portable devices that can be used to support learning.
All BYOD devices students use must be able to perform the following functions:
- Be able to connect to a College-provided Wi-Fi
- Access email
- Include calendar
- Take written/typed notes
- Perform simple image manipulation
- Connect to a cloud-based service for document storage
Students should be able to perform these functions with minimal teacher assistance.
